Oti Ometie

President

Oti Ometie is first and foremost an Itsekiri son from Bateren(Etchie) on his father's side and Jakpa(Awala) on his mother's.
Oti is passionate about the Itsekiri people. He has been involved in the Nigerian community wherever he has lived and made contributions by volunteering time and resources, serving on several boards and raising money for several charities.
He is an Information Technology Professional, speaker and blogger. 
He began his career in one of the top five financial institutions in Africa from there moving on to a consulting role with the University of Brighton in England and several other companies in England and Scotland before finally settling in Ontario, Canada.
Oti has an M.Sc. in Information Systems from the University of Brighton, an MBA from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and a B.Sc.  Ambrose Alli University.
He enjoys his Starch and banga a little too much.
Oti lives with his wife and sons in Ontario, Canada.
